Convert Iso To Eboot

Convert iso to eboot

The built-in PSP emulator for PS Vita can play PSX games flawlessly (via Adrenaline), however they must be in the PSP file format to work. PSX backups are usually found as disc images such as.iso or.bin +.cue files. PSX2PSP is a Windows application that will allow you to convert your PSX backup disc images to the PSP EBOOT.PBP file format. Nope, ISOs do not convert to EBOOTs even if you did convert it, it would not work because custom EBOOTs need Custom firware lolz. V2.0 - Changelog
    ********************** ENGLISH ***********************
!!! MAIN INTENTION FOR THIS NEW VERSION WAS ODE COMPATIBILITY !!!
    - Makes some reasonable pre-selections depending on users PS3 system
    - ISO(s) are now created via 'genps3iso_v2.5' instead of 'makeps3iso' for ODE compatibility
    - Proper and complete ODE/CFW compatible game patching to 3.55 (even not all of the newer games will run on CFW 3.55)
Patches PARAM.SFO, EBOOT.BIN, *.sprx, *.self and *.sdat files
The new patch functionality can be found at 'ISO Conversion Options'
Note 1: To force patching use the 'Always'-Option instead of the 'If needed'-Option
Note 2: Use 'Just Patch...' - Option if you don't want to create an ISO... intended for Non-Cobra-CFW-Users
    - 'Patch ISO'-function, which is kind of a 'dirty' in-ISO-patching), now patches always(forced) to any firmware version between 3.55 and 4.66
Note 3: This will only work for CFW-User... so it's greyed out when u set up an ODE-system.
    - Automaticly generates backups of original/patched files as zip files for simple restoring (only for proper patching)
    - Excluding 'PS3_UPDATE' folder from ISO is now optional
    - Creates missing 'PS3_DISC.FSB' file
    - Readme updated
!!! FOR MORE INFORMATION PLEASE READ THE README AND THE TOOLTIPS !!!

    - Liesmich geupdated

  • Usage:
    ******
Pretty self-explanatory(I hope)... read the tool-tips
    Notes:
    ******
    - It's important to set up your PS3-System on main window, because PS3 ISO TOOLS will make some preselections depending from that.
    - To batch-convert games, select a folder containing several games in folder-format(recursive scan)
    - All other tools, with the exception of ISO-Patcher, support batch-operation as well. Just multi-select the ISOs you like to process.
    - If you select a FAT32-drive as target for folder-format to ISO-format conversion the resulted ISO(s) will be split even without selecting the split-option
    - As default ISO-name(s) will NOT contain special ASCII-characters 0-31, 126-255 and also NOT /:*?'<>| ... This is to avoid problems with webMAN
(You can allow usage of special ASCII-characters 126-255, like '™' or '®' in 'ISO-conversion-Options')
    - After conversion/extraction a log-file will be shown, which compares size and number of files.
    - 'Proper' patching is possible only for 3.55, because ps3-private-keys above 3.55, which are needed for signing, are not yet released to the public.

  • - If you've choosen to extract 'PARAM.SFO' and 'ICON0.PNG'(Game-Icon) while converting to ISO-format, the 2 files will be placed hidden as '[ISO-name].SFO' and '[ISO-name].PNG' at target-folder.
If you use webMAN copy these 2 files(per game) to '/dev_hdd0/tmp/wmtmp/'. This will save you the effort to mount each game at least once to make webMAN display it's game-icon.
    - Make sure game-folder or any file inside game-folder isn't opened in any way before starting conversion.
    - Aborted batch-conversions could be continued. Already finished conversions will be skipped.
    - Find the options to patch a game to a lower firmware within the 'Create ISO(s) Options'.
First try the default options('If needed'). Then game(s) will only be patched when it's firmware version is higher as the set firmware version of your PS3-System
If PS3 ISO TOOLS does not patch anything and game doesn't work try the 'Always'-Option.
The 'Don't Create ISO(s)'-Option is just for CFW-Users who wan't to just patch the Game(s) in PS3-Folder-Format without creating an ISO(s) subsequently
    - Two zip files will be created while patching. They will be stored in 2 different folders named 'ORIGINAL_FILES_ARCHIVE' and 'PATCHED_FILES_ARCHIVE'. One contains
backups of the original files which needs patching. And the other one the patched files. In order to restore just unzip the zip-file containing the original files
to the game-folder and you're done.
    - 1st try your game(s) without installed game-update(s)

Hi guys darkamon here, ready to bring you a handy tutorial for our beloved Psvita/PSP.

Well, enough chitchat and let start.
First I wanna explain for who still don’t know what is the Psone Loader, through Tekken 2 and Moto X exploit we can run ps1 games with perfect sound, at the moment, a 99% compatibility due to my tests.

The only pain is having to close the ps1 exploit and retrigger it pay a different PS1 game. But hey! I’m here to help you avoid this! With making your know ps1 multiboot eboot for the psvita/psp. In the picture below you can see the option to swap disk (it’s the first option) which mean you can load a different PS1 game without restarting the PS1 exploit all over again. So now you can have 5 different games in one eboot to pick from.

Here is a quick video of it in action.

Iso

After that little introduction we can start.
First we need an image extractor for your ps1 black disk games.
(Me and the staff of Hackinformer do not encourage piracy!)

You can use whatever you want, Alcohol 120% is my favorite because it has the best compatibility with all the images formats, but of course you can use magic iso, daemon tools etc…
Is important to say, that you should ABSOLUTELY extract the ps1 game to a ISO format or bin/cue.
ECM, MDF and IMG doesn’t work for the conversion.

Now you need the PsxtoPsp tool that you can download from here
That’s it we have all the necessary tools to start having fun.

Convert Iso To Eboot

First you have to extract the files and save them to your desktop.

Open the tool, select CLASSIC MODE and OK

Convert Iso To Eboot

For single disk games, click the “…” under the ISO/PBP file 1

As for multiple disk games, click the drop down and select ISO/PBP file 2 for disk two, 3 for disk three, and so on. With this process we can create a SINGLE eboot with the multi disk selection!! Nice No?

Browse for your Psx game backup. I have selected Digimon World 3. All of the information will be filled in with the game ID, if don’t your ISO is corrupted.

Now select an output folder for your finished PSP eboot.

On the right side you can see icon image and background.

I recommend you to use only this two option just for leave the eboot lighter.

For icon i use the front cover of the games renamed “icon0” in png format, for background a screenshot in game named “pic1” always png.

After you have Browsed for and Selected the game, image and optional images/sounds, you may click “Preview”. Here is my preview:

When is all set click “Convert”

You will notice it will say “converting iso, #% done. Average Compression #%.”; at the bottom of the window.

Wait for it to say “Done. Final Compression: #%.” and then exit.

That’s it! Your eboot is ready.

Convert Iso 2 Eboot

Now you should just put it in the PSP/GAME/yourfoldergamename/EBOOT.PBP

If you use TN-V you can use ftp connection or put the folder in a zip file, select the compression to “storage” and name the folder in INSTALL.ZIP. The put it in the exploit save data and start your exploit to TN-V to extracted the zip file..

Hope everyone likes this tutorial I wrote for you my friends.
